New York State Troopers blocked the entrances to westbound Interstate 84 from Interstate 684 in Southeast Tuesday morning.
According to a New York State Department of Transportation alert, officials closed the roadway around 10 a.m. because of an accident involving a tanker truck and a fluid spill. The alert advised folks to plan for a four-hour closure, which would cause drivers to be diverted onto Route 22 in Southeast.
