Officials Charge 3 with DWI After Traffic Stops in Southeast

State police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officials from the East Fishkill barracks of the New York State Police arrested a number of individuals on drunken driving charges over the weekend. Here are their names:

  • Waterbury, CT resident Brandon J. Bryer, 29. Police say they stopped Bryer in a 2011 Hyundai Tuscon at about 4:20 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 84 in Southeast for driving on the shoulder and speeding. Bryer is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. His blood-alcohol level was 0.12, according to officials. The legal limit is 0.08. He was released pending an Oct. 9 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
  • Danbury, CT resident Andrew J. McGuinness, 51. Troopers pulled him over, in a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, on Danbury Road in Southeast around 11:20 p.m. Friday for lack of a license plate lamp. They charged McGuiness with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, and released him pending an Oct. 9 appearance in court. Officials say his blood-alcohol level was 0.10.
  • Pawling resident Brianna J. Walsh, 22. She's facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on westbound Interstate 84 in Southeast at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Additional information was not available Monday afternoon.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
