Officials: Patterson Man Threatens Landlord with Knife

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 48-year-old Patterson man is facing misdemeanor charges of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon following a recent incident, according to authorities.

Deputy Vincent Dalo of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office arrested Brian S. Williamson at about 6:50 a.m. Dec. 23, according to a statement released by the agency Wednesday. Dalo responded to the report of a dispute happening shortly before on Cornwall Hill Road in Patterson.

"Upon arrival, the deputy determined that ...Williamson... had threatened his landlord with a knife during a dispute," police said. They did not provide additional details on the cause of the fight.

Officials charged Williamson with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree menacing. He was sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
