A 23-year-old Danbury, CT woman is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after her vehicle landed in a roadside ditch over the weekend, officials say.
Troopers from the East Fishkill barracks of the New York State Police arrested Shauna M. Hyland on the misdemeanor charge at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say she was driving a 2011 Kia, which she lost control of on a ramp that connects Interstates 684 and 84 in Southeast. No injuries were reported, troopers say.
Hyland's blood-alcohol level was 0.09 percent, according to police. The legal limit is 0.08.
Officials released the woman pending an Oct. 23 appearance in Southeast Justice Court. The vehicle was reportedly towed.
