Police: Investigation into Fatal Fire Continues

Officials released their latest statement Monday morning.

Carmel Police Chief Mike Johnson provided the following update in a press release Monday morning. Click here for more information on the fire—which struck at about 2 a.m. May 1 and claimed the lives of Larchmont police Capt. Thomas Sullivan, his wife and two teenage daughters.

The investigation into the fatal fire that occurred on 5/1/12 at the Sullivan residence on Wyndham Lane [in Carmel] will not be concluded this week. All the information and documentation that is pertinent to the investigation has not been received as of yet. When all the information has been gathered and a definitive determination has been made after careful consideration of all the available evidence with regards to the cause of the fire, the media will be advised via a press conference.
