A 24-year-old Patterson man is facing misdemeanor and felony charges after he allegedly threw a rock through a bedroom window in Southeast following an argument, officials say.
Members of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office arrested Ian R. Daniels Thursday morning.
"At about 12:30 a.m. on [Wednesday], Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 call from a Milltown Road resident reporting that someone had thrown a large rock through her bedroom window," authorities said in a statement. "After conducting an initial investigation, the case was referred to Investigators Robert Ferris and James Bambino of the Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation."
Daniel reportedly was involved in a dispute with a resident of the home earlier in the night.
"He allegedly returned to the house and threw several rocks against the building causing damage to the siding and a window," police say.
Bambino and Ferris located Daniel the next morning and charged him with reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and second-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
Following arraignment before Southeast Town Justice Richard Vercollone, the defendant posted $2,500 bail at the Putnam County Correctional Facility. He was released pending an April 2 appearance in court.
