Police: Southeast Woman Drives Drunk on Local Roads

A 28-year-old Southeast woman is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in town, according to police.

State troopers from the Southeast barracks made the arrest at about 2:35 a.m. Sunday, near the intersection of Route 22 and Sodom Road. She was pulled over for failing to maintain the lane of travel, officials said.

The defendant's blood-alcohol level was allegedly 0.12-percent. The legal limit is 0.08. Authorities released her pending a Jan. 14 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.

And again I say, it is NOT news if you do not print the names. Why bother?

haha Cindy! I recently asked Ms. Tarr the same question! her reply was it's their policy not to print names for misdemeanors. it's scary to think they we only really have the Journal News to rely on for "real news"!!!
