A purse containing credit cards and other miscellaneous items was recently stolen from a vehicle parked at the Towne Center plaza on Route 22 in town, police say.
The incident was reported to State Police at the Southeast barracks around 6:20 p.m. Aug. 30, about an hour or two after the theft occurred. The car was unlocked at the time.
