Officials handed out 52 tickets for a variety of offenses during a six-hour speed enforcement initiative on Interstate 684 Wednesday.
The detail, which took place in the towns of Bedford and North Castle, led to 37 tickets for speeding, three for seatbelts, two for cell phones and several for other vehicle and traffic violations.
State troopers conduct initiatives like this one, and one earlier this month, throughout the year.
