Troopers: Man Faces Aggravated DWI Charge After Arrest in Southeast

State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 46-year-old Katonah man is facing two drunken driving charges following an arrest in Putnam County this weekend, police say.

State troopers from the East Fishkill barracks arrested Brent C. Williams at about 5:25 a.m. Saturday on eastbound Interstate 84 in Southeast. They charged him with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. The latter typically indicates a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent or more. The legal limit is 0.08.

Authorities released Williams, pending a future court appearance.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
