A 44-year-old Carmel man is accused of assault during a domestic incident in Somers, according to police.
State troopers arrested the man at about 10:50 a.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault. The incident occurred Tuesday at a home on Mahopac Avenue in Somers.
The defendant is due Sept. 16 in Somers Justice Court to answer the charge.
