Troopers Charge 3 with DWI in Southeast

State police provided the following information. It does not indicate any convictions.

Officials from the East Fishkill and the Southeast barracks of the New York State Police arrested several individuals on drunken driving charges over the weekend. Each will be due in court at a future date. Here are their names:

  • Danbury, CT resident Robert W. Matta, 57. Troopers arrested Matta around 11:20 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 684 in Southeast. He's facing two infractions, along wth charges of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Additional details were not readily available.
  • Danbury, CT resident Syrbreanna L. Colon, 24. Police stopped Colon near Exit 10 on northbound I-684 in Southeast, at about 3:25 a.m. Saturday. She's facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. 
  • Carmel resident Luis J. Gonzalez Lider, 23. Gonzalez Lider was traveling on Route 22 in Southeast around 2:30 a.m. Saturday when police stopped him. They charged him with four infractions, as well as misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
