Troopers: Connecticut Man Faces Felony DWI Charge

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A recent traffic stop in Southeast led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Danbury, CT man who has been convicted of driving while intoxicated twice in the last decade, authorities say.

Donal R. Aucay-Aucay is facing felony charges of driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Officials also issued two traffic infractions.

Troopers from the Southeast Barracks stopped Aucay-Aucay at about 3:20 a.m. Sunday, at the intersection of Interstate 84 and Route 121, after they noticed tinted windows and an inadequate brake light, according to police reports.
