County Exec to Present 2013 Budget

Officials seek to remain within 'true' 2-percent property tax cap.

MaryEllen Odell is slated to deliver her first budget presentation as Putnam County executive at 7 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 3).

The event is scheduled to take place in the auditorium at the Putnam County Training and Operations Center on Old Route 6 in Carmel. Odell is slated to outline local finances for 2013. 

"In order to meet the needs of its citizens, Putnam County seeks to provide transparent, effective and honest local government by staying within a true 2-percent tax cap," her office said in a statement.

Odell took office in January.
