Village to Host 'Community Visioning Session' Tonight

Goal is to discuss improvements that would benefit "property owners, residents, business owners and visitors."

Brewster officials are hoping members of the public will attend this evening's "brainstorming session" and take part in a conversation about revitalizing the Village.

Here is the notice:

...The Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster and Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, a not-for-profit policy, planning, advocacy and research organization whose mission is to promote regional, balanced and sustainable solutions that enhance the growth and vitality of the Hudson Valley, will host a PUBLIC MEETING ON NOVEMBER 14, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. for the purpose of obtaining public participation to brainstorm ideas toward revitalizing the Village of Brewster for our property owners, residents, business owners and visitors.  Anyone interested in the future of Brewster Village and who would like to make a difference in our community is encouraged to attend and participate in this interactive workshop!

The Public Meeting will take place at Village Hall, 50 Main Street, Brewster, NY, beginning at 7:00 P.M. on November 14, 2012 or as soon thereafter as time permits.  The Village of Brewster will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. If you're unable to attend the meeting, but would like to share a thought or two, Village officials are accepting written comment until the close of business on Monday. You can also leave it here and I'll pass it along!
