A very sad comment by the Board of Ed. While sports has some importance, you go to school for academics and all society advances not from how many people can crash their heads into something but from how many books are consumed, written, questioned and put into practice. Congrats to the football team, but we are in a downward spiral because we spend way too much money on athletics and far too few on academia.

^ is that a joke? Please tell me how many books can unite a community, how many books can bring so many people together? Being part of this team we were told we had to do well In school. We worked hard in school so we could play Friday nights. We're not a bunch of dumb football players who can't read. Many of us are on honor roll and top of our classes. We worked hard this season and this season taught us a lesson no book could ever teach us. Your comment makes no sense.
