Brewster students from C.V. Starr Intermediate School and Henry H. Wells Middle School are set to perform Friday and Saturday at the Putnam County Elementary All-County Festival.
These "musically gifted" fifth- and sixth-graders auditioned and were selected to represent the district, according to band director Dan Gaffney and choral director Susan Yanarella.
Students from Carmel, Garrison, Haldane, Mahopac and Putnam Valley will also be participating in the festival. It is taking place at Henry H. Wells Middle School (570 Route 312 in Southeast) Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
