The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (GDICC) features classes taught by local instructors for Fall 2012 in:

 Irish Language

12 week term for Beginners and Intermediate classes.  Beginners meet weekly at the GDICC on Sat. mornings starting Sept. 15th at 10 AM for 1.5 hrs.  The Intermediate class meets mid-week via SKYPE starting Tues., Sept. 11th (may move to Wednesdays) at 9 PM ET.  Instructor:  John Feeney – The Irish Gaelic Circle of CT.  Call 203-417-1700 or e-mail: jfeeney@kells-all.com.

 Tin Whistle / Flute

6 Week term for a Beginners class.  Meets weekly at the GDICC on Sat. mornings starting on Sat., Sept. 8th from 10 AM – 1 PM.  There will be a second 6 week term after the first.  Instructor: Rita McAuliffe.  Call 845-454-3232 or e-mail: ritar3232@aol.com.

 Crochet

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic.
