JFK Elementary School Administrators Receive National PTA’s Life Achievement Award

The National PTA is proud to announce Dr. Robin Young and Mr. John Conroy as the latest recipients of National PTA’s Life Achievement Award, the highest honor given to PTA members and leaders.

The National PTA Life Achievement Award recognizes a person who lives out his or her commitment to children on a daily basis and tirelessly advocates for children’s education, health and well-being.

Dr. Young and Mr. Conroy have been active members of the PTA executive board for many years and their support is unending for programs and events. Dr. Young has served as Principal of JFK Elementary school for 15 years and Mr. Conroy for 6. Their contribution to the PTA while spanning over many years, can be witnessed on a daily basis. Dr. Young and Mr. Conroy work side by side with the Elementary PTA to assure programs and events provided are both educational and enjoyable for the children and families of JFK Elementary School.

The Life Achievement award was formally presented by Ann Marie Kovaleski, Elementary PTA President at the Brewster Central School District Wide PTA Annual Installation and Volunteer Recognition Meeting on June 9, 2014.
