They made their way to Southeast Monday.

Students, teachers and staff members at in Southeast recently welcomed two new additions to the school's community.

Sage and Phoenix—two camels who came from Sacred Camel Gardens, a California-based organization—were presented during a ceremony in front of hundreds of people Monday morning.

"When I heard about Green Chimneys I knew I’d found the best place for them," Stuart Camps, lead steward for the organization, said during the presentation, according to his blog. "We trust that all of you will take good care of them through their whole lives ... We want you to enjoy them, learn from them, and respect them."
