Residents went to the polls May 20 to vote for two of the three people running for seats on the Brewster Board of Education. Here are the official results:
709 votes for Daniel Armstrong
934 votes for Scott Dakin
1,005 votes for Alberta Kozma (incumbent)
Also on the ballot were two spending propositions:
- The trustees' proposed $87.88 million spending plan for 2014-15 was approved by a vote of 1,070 to 497
- Permission to buy five buses and one van at a cost not to exceed $499,684 was granted by a vote of 1,041 to 512
