Tilly Foster Welcomes Spring Re-Awakening on the Farm
All hands were on deck for the day-long affair.
Families came out in droves to view more than 260 pieces of student-artwork and watch falconry demonstrations this weekend at .
Both activities were part of the farm's Spring Fling event, which also featured sheep shearing, pony rides and face-painting.
Students and teacher from and buzzed in and out of the Cantina Building Saturday, admiring the students' work and pausing for a fourth-grade musical performance at 1 p.m. For those who spent most of the day outside, the event highlighted the tasks that come with spring — tending to the herds and fields — and celebrating, as organizers put it, the "re-awakening of life" on the farm.
