Three Brewster Bruins cheer teams participated in a competition hosted by the Mahopac Sports Association this weekend.
The event, which was held Sunday at Mahopac High School, featured Brewster cheerleaders on the third and fourth, fifth and sixth, and seventh and eighth-grade teams.
Both younger teams won third place in respective age groups. The older team won first place.
Brewster Bruins Board member Patricia Bohrman said the competition was a wonderful event.
"They did a great job," she told Patch.
