Brewster boys win

We thank Brewster boys hoop student manager/statistician extraordinaire Drew Podgorski for providing the stats for this update:

Jack Dignan and Mike Bonilla make one heck of a duo for the No. 10 Brewster boys basketball squad and showed why in its opening round Section 1 Class A playoff contest at Saunders.

Dignan registered a game-high 23 points and Bonilla contributed 16 huge points in the Bears' thrilling 61-60 triumph at the Yonkers-based school.

Brewster will now play at No. 2 Peekskill in the quarterfinals Wednesday, Feb. 22 at a time to be announced.

The winners of each quarterfinal contest will advance to the Section 1 Final Four at the Westchester County Center in White Plains Feb. 27-March 4.

 

Brewster girls hoops

No. 13 Brewster was led by Rory Stark's 13 points in the Bears' 54-44 loss at Albertus Magnus in the opening round of the Section 1 Class A playoffs Feb. 17.

Brewster Sports Center news

The Brewster Sports Center's multi-sport camp will not start today, instead it will run from Feb. 21-24.

If its a reservoir you need the water shed permit.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
