DIAMONDS, DENIM and DANCING, tickets on sale now!

The Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition (TOSCAC) is holding its annual fundraiser on November 9, 2013, from 7:30 to 10:30 pm at Vista on the Hill, 31 N Mt. Ebo Road.  The event, Diamonds, Denim and Dancing, is a celebration of our "Diamond in the Rough" --- the Southeast Old Town Hall as a cultural center for the town and surrounding area.  The ground floor of this historic landmark within the Village of Brewster is already home to TOSCAC and its Studio Around the Corner, hosting numerous cultural arts programs since Fall 2011.  The uppermost floor of the building houses a theater in need of repair but with wonderful potential.

The event will include hors d’hoeuvres, dessert, wine, beer, and live dance music by the band State of Being.  The evening will also feature surprise entertainment showcasing the year’s events at the Studio – Poetry, Chamber Music and Dance.  The silent auction will include works by artists who have exhibited in the Studio: Chris Casaburi, Brian Alberghini, Tony Ziegler, Joan Gillman Smith, Toni Levin, Wilians Mendez and Dawn Willis, birdhouses by Doug Ziegler and Jewelry by Anne Koplik Designs.  Dress is casual with bling!

The funds raised during this celebration will go toward current operations at the Studio and toward planning for a phased renovation of the Old Town Hall building and its theater.  Please support Diamonds, Denim and Dancing by purchasing tickets and/or becoming a sponsor!  Let others know that you believe in our cause that surely will help to revitalize Brewster!
