Meet Nicki, a Big Mush

Her adoption fee is $100.

Nicki the cat is a big fan of affection.

That's one reason folks at the Putnam Humane Society say she would make a great companion.

She's lived at the shelter for the last year, after someone left her outside the building in a carrier. Staff members say she is a warm girl who loves having her neck and head scratched.

Weighing in around 14 or 15 pounds, Nicki is in good health. She would do best in a quiet home, with older children.

Nicki's adoption fee is $100. He and the other animals — there are roughly 100 of them — all need forever homes, the society can always use donations (especially old newspapers!).
