Tuesday: It's Election Day and the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. There is a Brewster Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. On the agenda: An assessment presentation for ELA and math scores in grades three through eight, the site assessment at Garden Street School, the 2013-2014 emergency response plans and more. The Brewster Public Library is hosting a 10:30 a.m. computer class: Excel Basics Part 1. Expect sunny skies and a high around 49 degrees.
Wednesday: It's the end of the first quarter marking period at Henry H. Wells Middle School and Brewster High School. The Village of Brewster Board of Trustees is meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 50 Main Street. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, and temperatures will peak at about 60 degrees.
Thursday: Our Town, the BHS fall drama, debuts at 7 p.m. There is a town board meeting at 7:30 p.m. The agenda will be posted here. The NWS calls for showers and a high near 64 degrees.
Friday: The weather should be nice—sunny with a high around 60 degrees. It's the sixth annual "Girls Night Out" at the Starr Ridge Banquet Hall. The BHS Safe Driving Program is sponsoring the event, which begins at 7 p.m.
