There are tons of ways to keep busy around Brewster and Southeast this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you. Flea Market
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (rain date is Sept. 28)
Where: Trinity Lutheran Church lower parking lot (in Southeast, off Old Route 6 and Husted Road)
Why go? You're bound to snag some great finds at this flea market, and you don't even have to leave the Brewster area. Shop for household goods and browse items from professional vendors while you enjoy beverages and snacks.

Meet the Author: "BREWSTER" by Mark Slouka
When: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday
Where: The Studio Around the Corner (in Brewster, at 67 Main Street)
Why go? Mark Slouka, the author of Brewster, will be at the studio for a short reading and a discussion about his new novel. It takes place here in the 1960s. A review from the New York Times calls Slouka’s storytelling "sure and patient, deceptively steady and devastatingly agile."

Performing Arts, Sharing Space at Ryder Farm
When: 3:30 p.m. Sunday
Where: SPACE on Ryder Farm (in Southeast, at 406 Starr Ridge Road)
Why go? This event will feature everything from a barbecue, a farm tour and a stage performance.
