Local folks have about 10 days left to replace a library card for free.
September is National Library Card Month and the Brewster Public Library (located at 79 Main Street in the village) is recognizing it by providing patrons with new cards.
Here are some details, as provided on the library's website:
"In honor of National Library Card Month, you can replace, with no fee, your existing or lost card with a new wallet card, plus a smaller card that fits right on your keychain. All you need is a form of ID to replace your card. Come in during the month of September to take advantage of this offer."
