Putnam county officials have rescheduled the annual cycling (and eating) events—Tour de Putnam, Putnam Classic and Putnam Pasta Picnic—to May 18.
The events were canceled yesterday by officials over troubling weather reports.
Registered participants not able to make the new date may request a refund.

"We deeply and sincerely apologize for the confusion brought about by Putnam County Tourism agency's cancellation of the Putnam Cycling Classic on May 10 due to the uncertainties of weather patterns," officials said.
