Weekend Events: Live Music, 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' Party, Skiing
There are tons of ways to keep busy around Brewster and Southeast this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you.
Here are some ideas:
Live Music at the Blooming Seed Coffee House
Where: Inside Temple Beth Shalom at 760 Route 6 in Mahopac
When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Why go? Singer-songwriters Thomas McDermott and Justin O'Leary will bring their acoustic talent as they perform both covers and originals. Organizers call the coffee house "a community-oriented venue providing a warm comfortable space for old and new friends to come together to listen to live grass roots music, sip locally roasted coffee courtesy of Coffee Labs Roasters Inc and find delectable desserts at our dessert cash bar." The cover is $10, and doors open at 7.
