The Walter Brewster House

Flag as Inappropriate

The Walter Brewster House was built around 1850 for the Borden family, the owners of the Borden Milk Factory. Walter Brewster purchased the house, along with 134 acres of farmland, in what later became the Village of Brewster. The house was eventually converted into apartments, then was the home of the Knights of Columbus and then served as a middle school. After undergoing massive renovations, the Walter Brewster House is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is open for tours. The facility can also be rented for special events.
