The Brewster Central School District is the main headquarters for the administration and management of  fiveMore schools: Garden Street Elementary, JFK Elementary, C.V. Starr Intermediate, H.H. Wells Middle and Brewster High School. The district educates approximately 3500 students. The average class size for grades 8 and 10 for the 2008-2009 school year were 24 and 20 students, respectively.</p> <p>Based on information from that same year, 83% of students were white, 2% were black or African American, 12% were Hispanic or Latino and 3% were Asian or Native Hawaiian/other Pacific islander. That year there were 294 teachers in the district, teaching 1037 classes.</p>

The mission of St. Lawrence O'Toole Early Childhood Learning Center is to provide each child with the opportunity toMore grow spiritually, educationally, emotionally, socially and physically, and to become life-long learners within a Catholic environment. Providing programs to children ages two to five, St. Lawrence O'Toole is open between the hours of 8:30am to 6pm and offer programs that include "Just The Two of Us" for two-year-olds and a care-giver on Tuesdays from 10am to noon, Pre-K 3 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am to 12:15pm, Pre-K 4 every day from 9:30am to 12:15pm and Full Day Kindergarten every day from 8:30am to 2:30pm. This school also provides an extended day for pre-school children, "Lunch Bunch" from 12:15pm to 2:30pm and an After Care program from 2:30 to 6pm. Registration begins in January for the following school year, and continues throughout the year pending on available space.

The owner of this school is a professional trucker who's been teaching tractor trailer driving for more than 20 years.More Private classes, held on weekends starting at 7am, last for two hours at a time and cost $225 each; most students can learn to drive a truck in five to seven lessons. Putnam's truck is available to rent for the exam at $250. Although Putnam Professional is located in Scout Office Park, all classes are held on the road.
