The Town of Southeast Offices houses the Building and Planning departments, as well as the Zoning Enforcement and…More Special Districts offices. Southeast Parking and the fire inspector also share the building, which was erected in 1886 as the First National Bank of Brewsters.  </p> <p>The Building Department's purpose is to ensure that both local and state structural regulations are met through inspections and the review of permit plans. Permit applicants may also be sent to the Planning Department and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Michael J. Levine heads the department as building inspector.  </p> <p>The Special Districts Department is responsible for the handling of the operation and payment of several special districts' water and sewer functions. Levon Bedrosian is the department's administrator.</p> <p>Residents can also visit the building for Southeast Parking, where annual and semiannual parking permits can be purchased for the train station and the "Gold Lot."</p> <p>Fire Inspector Kenneth Clair is responsible for meeting the state's standard of yearly public inspections, as well as inspections of dangerous occupancies.</p>
