Denis Castelli, Neighbor

My role today is as the Putnam County Historian, appointed by County Executive Paul Eldridge in 2011 and re-appointed by County Executive, MaryEllen Odell.  First appointed Historian for the Village of Brewster by Mayor John Degnan, I have been re-appointed each year since 2006.   I am a board member of the Southeast Museum and the Putnam County Land Trust. 

As an advocate for today's active duty Armed Forces and all veterans, I am a delegate to the Putnam County Joint Veterans Council, Life member and Judge Advocate for Chapter 21 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 672, Brewster. 

I am a Southeast resident where I live with my wife of more than 30 years and have been a homeowner here for nearly 40 years.
