LMGD, Neighbor

My name is Barbara Tierney. I’m a Freelance Graphic Designer/Web Designer. I design websites, logos, newspaper / magazine ads, brochures, banners, books, and everything in between.

My design skills have grown and developed through the 25&#43; years of agency and publishing work. Now, I create great design by partnering and brainstorming with a network of similarly-minded creative professionals. There is nothing more gratifying than to deliver good clean work and it is <i>always</i> so rewarding to see a client reaping the benefits of well thought out marketing materials.

I have collaborated with many clients in and around the Hudson Valley, including <i>Readers Digest, Scholastic, </i><i>International Masters Publishers, Heineken, Crane Business Systems, Recharge-Retreats, GuidePosts, EMERGE, </i><i>Metropolitan Risk, Direct Wines (aka WSJwine, Zagatwine, Laithwaites Wine, Virgin Wine), </i> and more.

As an Art Director at <i>International Masters Publishers, (7.5 years)</i> I was responsible for multiple products which involved complex direct mail pieces, budgetary concerns, product and model photography supervision and the hiring <br> of freelance staff. 

I&#39;m no longer working in the BIG corporate world and not really interested in BIG stressful clients – I&#39;m happy keeping it small, keeping life manageable.

Currently, happily, I work in my home studio with my eyes on the lake... I&#39;m a kayaker, love animals, enjoy oil painting, photography and I practice and teach Reiki.
