Oct. 19: 100 Percent Chance of Rain, Moving Memorial, Village Meeting

Our five items to keep in mind throughout the day.

1. The Brewster Public Library will host its Babies and Books Program at 11 a.m. Children should be at least 6 months old. No registration is required.

2. The PTSA is slated to meet for an executive meeting at 6:15 p.m. in the library.

3. The Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall will be passing through the Village of Brewster around 4 p.m. today, as part of the Cost of Freedom Tribute. Folks are encouraged to come out and wave American flags as the memorial makes its way down Main Street toward a final destination of in Carmel. It will remain there for the next few days. 4. The Brewster Board of Trustees is slated to meet for a 7:30 p.m. meeting at .

5. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 100 percent chance of precipitation in Brewster today. In addition to at least a half inch of rain, the agency is also predicting temperatures around 60 degrees.
