Can't remember the view it's been so long that we've been allowed on the road since metro north…Read More decided to close the bridge and not repair it! Oh and apparently metro north will not repair the bridge nor replace it since it doesn't have any benefits to them. However they purchased additional property next to the Southeast station tracks to use as a parking lot and when they can finalize a plan with there engineers on how to get vehicles to use it without literally driving over the existing tracks then they "hope" to incorporate a ramp/bridge that will allow there customers a way other than Independant Drive to access the train. So the long and short of it is.... If they do what they want with the Southeast Station area we may be able to use Prospect hill Road again! Sounds unfair right! Metro north literally is allowed to cut off access to a complete road as well as another section of town.

Yes, Barbara, what about that bridge? The temporary closure seems very permanent. I spoke with our…Read More Assemblyman a number of years ago and he said they were meeting on solving it that month. Where is the public outcry that nothing has been done? Think of how much gas is wasted each month by all of the longer trips.
