Community Members Speak Out: 600+ Sign Petition

The group Save Katonah Lewisboro Schools continues to be vocally opposed to moving forward with a study calling for the closure of a local elementary school. In this post, the group notes 607 residents have signed a petition asking the school board to delay the planned January vote on the measure.

Young Authors Inspired by Master Class

Area students, from schools including John Jay High School and Putnam Valley High School, recently took part in a master class for young authors at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES. The participating students will later have a chance to submit their work to a digital anthology and take part in a Young Authors' Conference in the spring.
