On Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, the Putnam County SPCA is having its Pet Pictures with Santa Fundraiser at the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Station on Route 6, Mahopac, NY from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.  All pets are welcome.  Kids too can have their pictures taken with Santa!  $12.00 donation.  All funds raised will benefit the Putnam County SPCA in its mission to prevent cruelty to animals throughout Putnam County.

The Putnam County SPCA is a 501(c)3 corporation which receives no funding from any government agency or the ASPCA.  Our mission is to prevent cruelty to all animals by enforcing the NYS cruelty statutes by our countywide humane law enforcement department, providing medical care and shelter to abused animals and providing Humane Education to schools and other interested groups.  We exist solely on donations of supporters who care about animals and how they are treated.  Given law enforcement powers by the State of New York, the Putnam County SPCA responds to calls of suspected animal cruelty throughout Putnam County

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic. After all it is your child education-why not let then be involved in decisions. Look forward to April 12th. Thank you to Longview for offering this great event.
