Brewster Volleyball--Week 1

After twelve years of coaching at Brewster, Teri Schumacher has retired and left the program in my hands.  I'm very excited to be taking over after coaching at the modified and junior varsity level for Brewster.  I'm a 2001 Walter Panas graduate who played in high school under Coaches Jim Tamburri, Tara Conlan, and Teri Rancier.  I'm also an English teacher at BHS. 

Jess Olivieri is my junior varsity coach; she is a former player from Carmel High School who has taken on the role of the JV coach with ease.  Her team is looking strong and competitive.

Coach Shumacher retired after twelve years of coaching at Brewster and almost twenty years of coaching overall.  When she left, and she took eight seniors players with her.  We have a very young team with a tremendous amount of potential and athletic ability.  Right now, we need to gain more experience playing together.  We had a tough first game against Tappan Zee on Tuesday 9/3 where we lost 25-6, 25-7, and 25-13.  We have two away games this week against North Salem (9/10) and Somers (9/11)
