Statement in Recognition of Israel’s Independence Day

Washington, D.C.  – Representative Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement today in recognition of the 65th Anniversary of Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day. This evening, Rep. Maloney will be joining with Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut with Ambassador Michael Oren and his family.

“As we celebrate the sixty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel, we honor the immense bravery and courage of the Jewish people and the continued struggle for an independent Jewish state.
