Concerts Around the Corner, Welcome to the Steinway Piano
When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Where: Studio Around the Corner (67 Main Street, Suite 101, in Brewster)
Why go? This is the first in the "Concerts Around the Corner" series. It will feature a half-dozen performers whose specialties range from dance to piano to violin and viola. And you'll get to see the Steinway L Series grand piano, made in 1936. It's on loan at the studio. Tickets are $15 and reservations are recommended.
Parents' Night Out: Summer Beach Party
When: 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday
Where: Patterson Library (1167 Route 311 in Patterson)
Why go? Kiddies ages 7 and up will have a great time watching Teen Beach Movie, one of Disney's latest. They'll munch out on snacks and take part in hula hoop and limbo contests. Library staff is encouraging youngsters to come in their beach attire!
Third Annual Cabaret
When: 7 p.m. Saturday
Where: St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish Hall (31 Prospect Street in Brewster)
Why go? This fun-filled evening will feature lots of song and dance, plus food (for purchase). Plus, you'll be supporting a local theatre group. Admission is $10.
