ALS ASSOCIATION GREATER NEW YORK CHAPTER TO HOST THE 5th ANNUAL WALK TO DEFEAT ALS IN THE HUDSON VALLEY, NY – OCTOBER 20th

The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter will host the 5th Annual Walk to Defeat ALS fundraiser in the Hudson Valley on Sunday, October 20th, 10:30 AM, at Highland, NY (just across from Poughkeepsie).

The Walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Before and after the walk, there will be family friendly activities such as guest stars, face painting, live music, mascots, refreshments, and other fun & games.

Proceeds from the event will go to The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter. As one of The ALS Association's leading chapters, the Greater New York Chapter serves patients and families throughout the Lower-and Mid-Hudson Valley (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster Counties), Westchester County, New York City, Long Island, and Northern & Central New Jersey and plays a major role in promoting the mission to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS. The ALS Association is the only national, nonprofit, voluntary, health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. The ALS Association is a member of the National Health Council.
