The St. Andrew's Nursery School, which has been located at
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Brewster since 1975, has become Bright
Beginnings Enrichment Preschool, said Anne Marie Verrino, the preschool
director. The preschool is geared for 2 1/2 - 4 year olds and offers a two-year
developmental curriculum that prepares children for school. The curriculum
aligns with the current kindergarten programs of local schools allowing its
students to transition well into school.

"We foster the differentiated learning styles of all
our students," Verrino said. The nursery school was known for its
curriculum that included socialization skills, colors, shapes, letters,
numbers, math, science, pre-reading, phonemic awareness, and fine motor skills.
These will continue in the new curriculum, but Bright Beginnings is adding an
additional day exclusively for enrichment acticvities.  These enrichment offerings will include
music, cooking, science, and art exploration.
