Spring!

There's plenty to do at the farm this season.

The weather is starting to become beautiful. Flowers are peeking out, song birds are singing. For farms spring means babies, lots and lots of babies. For us at we have baby bunnies that are not small anymore and that is it for now.

Now wait a minute there should be lambs right? Well actually there should be but the sheep that are at the farm are not going to be lambing until the fall or at least that is my plan. The sheep that are having lambs are at my house where I can watch out for anything that may be a problem. When the lambs are a bit older they will make the journey over to the farm where you will be able to see them.

What about the cows? Well currently there is only one cow at the farm and it is a bull. The cows are wintering at another farm but when they return I believe there will be little ones.

Even though there is no babies right now there is still plenty to see and do at the farm. And with the nice warm weather stop by on the weekends and have a picnic or have a pony ride. There are several things on the calendar for the coming months so check out our website and visit us at the farm.
