"Pat" Hanna: 1919-2013

Mary “Pat” Hanna of Brewster, NY, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Waterview Hills Nursing Home peacefully in her sleep. She was 94 years old. 

Pat was born February 5, 1919 in Danbury, CT. Pat married Eddie Hanna on September 15, 1938. She was a member of St. Lawrence O’ Toole Church, Brewster, NY. 

In good weather you could always find Pat with a cup of tea or a glass of wine on her front porch. She was the gram of Allview Avenue, always providing cookies for the children. 

Pat loved her child, Sharon, and grandchildren unconditionally, always putting others first. 

Pat is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon and her husband Douglas Greaves of Brookfield, CT, her two grandsons, Fred and his wife Lori Barbarossa of Paramus, NJ and Brian Barbarossa of Brewster, NY, her sister Catherine Carr of Brewster, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eddie in 2006.

Family will receive friends on Monday August 12, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster, NY. A graveside service will be on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM Milltown Rural Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Interment will follow.
