As the Avalon Archives Museum enters its sixth year at Tilly Foster Farm, we are presently installing a music library that will be open this spring.  The library will be free to Putnam County residents and their guests.  Exhibits at the  museum include Country/Western, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel;, Folk, Bluegrass, the British Invasion, a little Jazz, and of course, Rock and Roll.

This summer, the museum will open a “guitar camp” with lessons for youngsters and beginners taught by professional musicians at very affordable rates.

Because of the number of art students that have come to the museum, we plan to host an art contest with cash prizes open to all High School Students of Putnam.

David Amram, The Knox Sisters, Petey Hop, and others have agreed to perform at a benefit concert to support Tilly Foster Farm.

Avalon Archives continues to be a strong draw for tourism while working with the residents, students, and Mental Health Services of Putnam County.  Tourism lowers your taxes and brings in revenue.  It is the best museum of its kind on the East Coast!

Thank you, and come visit, its free,
