Airplane Landed on Major Deegan May Have Left Danbury

The pilot is from South Salem, news reports said.

News reports are saying the single-engine airplane that landed Saturday on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx took off from Danbury Municipal Airport.

News 4 New York reported the airplane, a four-seat, one-engine 1966 Piper PA, is registered to Michael Schwartz of South Salem, N.Y. For the link to the News 4 New York story, click here.
