A 30-year-old Southeast man is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following an arrest early Sunday, police say.
Officer Stephen Kunze of the Carmel Police Department stopped Patrick Graham around 3:30 a.m. on Route 6 for allegedly driving erratically. The officer arrested Graham after interviewing him and conducting field sobriety tests, according to officials.
The defendant is also facing an infraction, a violation and a misdemeanor charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, which was reportedly linked to a prescription drug. Police released him pending a Sept. 18 appearance in Carmel Justice Court.
